  1. Table Tennis rubber will perform best when warm compared to when it’s cold. The rubber becomes more flexible and springy therefore faster. It’s for this reason players keep the bat inside their jacket/jumper or place it near a heater when weather/air is cooler.
  2. Players should change their Table Tennis rubber on a regular basis. The term “regular” can mean a wide time period (2 weeks – 18 months) to many people but the more you play the quicker the rubber wears out.
  3. Players should have 2 identical bats ready to use when playing tournaments or any competition, especially major events, just in case one gets lost, broken, damaged, stolen, etc.
