David's credible performance at Poland Open

There are no easy matches for Australian players at the strong international tournaments. In the group stage at the Poland Open there were 162 players trying to win there way into the main draw (1st round is round of 64) covering 51 groups (50 groups of 3 and 1 group of 4 plus there were 8 pre qualifying group matches).

David (WR 555) played quite but could not hold leads and the high level required for the whole match in both matches. He lost to Janos Jakab (WR 138) from Poland 4-2 after leading 2-0 then lost to Hampus Soderland (WR 293) 4-2 after leading 2-1.

Next tournament for David will be Finland Open at end of November. In the meantime, he will train 4-5hrs per day (including off court physical program) 6 days a week.
