Last weekend it was the country's best Senior players fighting for spots in the Aust. Team for C'wealth Games where 2 spots in each team are yet to be decided, now this weekend the nation's best 15, 16 & 17 year olds are playing off to see who will the Australia's sole representative at the Oceania Youth Olympic Qualifying later in the year.
This Qualifying tournament will be played at Croydon Table Tennis Association in Melbourne.
Only one male and one female from Oceania region can earn a spot at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games.
The Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is a new event created to inspire the younger athletes to experience and big multi sporting event and be a great platform into the Senior Category.
