Parleen wins Aust. Hopes Challenge

Parleen Kaur won the girls event of the first Australian Hopes Challenge held at Croydon & Districts TTA. The Hopes age group for 2015 is for players born in 2003 or 2004. Players of younger ages were permitted to play this event which was used as a qualifying event for Oceania Hopes Event (April 7-12 in NZ).

Last year Parleen won the Oceania Hopes Event so was expected she would win this year's Aust. Hopes Challenge but did have a close match in last one which proved to be the final against Chermaine Quah.

The winner of Boys Event was Finn Luu. Both Finn and Parleen earn the right to represent Australia at Oceania Hopes Event plus another boy & girl will be selected to participate at the event.  Only one boy and one girl from Oceania Hopes Event will qualify for World Hopes Week later this year.

Other MSTT players to play were,

Nicholas Lum 3rd of 6

Isabella Jiang 3rd of 5

Abbey Wijaya 4th of 5
