Chamara Fernando is the lastest quality coach to join the MSTT Coaching Team. Chamara is a qualified Level 1 coach and has his Working With Children card. He has coached on and off over the last 10 years and helped develop former State Junior Players, Jesse & Nikita Bricknell.

- 2008 Oceania Men's Doubles Champion
- 2006 Oceania Men's Singles R-up (to William Henzell)
- 2006 1st reserve for Australian Men's Team for Commonwealth Games
- 1999 to 2008 Australian ranked between 7 - 10
- 1996 & 1992 Sri Lankan Men's Singles Champoin
- 1994 - 1996 Sri Lankan Ranked no. 1
- 1990 Sri Lankan Junior Boys Singles Champion
