Yang won 3 doubles titles at the Oceania Junior & Cadet Championships. In all 3 finals, the matches went down the the deciding 5th set.
Teaming with Dominic Huang (former student of Mark from 2005-2011), they won the U18 Boys Doubles final against compatriots, Ivan Sulfaro & Jake Duffy in a tight match, 13-11 in the last set. Yang & Dominic also won the U15 Boys Doubles against National team mates, Jake Duffy & Benjamin Gould 11-8 in the 5th set.
Yang, with partner Wendy Li (Vic), won the U18 Mixed Doubles title at Oceania Junior & Cadet Championships. In the final they play fellow aussies, Jake Duff & Madeline Goodsell, and won 11-6 in the 5th set.
