David's joy, Heming's heartache after first two rounds of Aust. C'wealth Games Qualifying

David and Heming played a heart stopper in their opening match against each other. Heming blitzed early on with winner after winner and went to a 3 sets to 1 lead. In the next two sets David clawed his way back without being in control and levelled the match at 3 - 3. Experience seemed to come through for David as he raced to a 9-5 lead in the 7th set but Heming won the next 4 points to make it 9-9. After two more hard fought points it was David who was the victor, 11-9.

David's second match was against Wade Townsend. David maintained his solid record over Wade and won 4-0 but was closer than it appears as 3 sets were 11-9 or deuce.

Heming heartache continued when he lost 13-11 in the 7th against Justin Han after leading 3 sets to 2 and had match point in 6th set.
