It was a tough day for MSTT players at Aust. Youth Olympic Qualifying.
Darcie lost both matches in the pre qualifying, losing to Vanessa Tan (NSW) 3-0 then Holy Nicolas (WA) 3-1 therefore did not progress to official Qualifying Event.
Yang also played the pre qualifying and was part of a round robin with total of 4 players where the top 2 progress to official Qualifying Event. He won 2 matches (Erny Tsao & Anthony Zhou - NSW) and lost 1 (Xavier Dixon - TAS) to finish first (on count back with Erny Tsao).
In the official Qualifying (6 player Round Robin) Dillon and Yang both finished the day with 1 win and 2 losses with Dillon losing a dramatic match against Jake Duffy after leading 7-2 in the deciding 5th set.
