The Australian Women's Team finished 23rd (equal 21st) of 96 teams/countries while the Men's Team finished 44th (equal 41st) of 120 teams/countries at the World Team Championships.
The Women's Team was in the Championships Division (1 - 24) and played against some of the best countries in the world.
Both Team's played this event without the best performed players (William Henzell and Jian Fang Lay) from last World Team Championships (WTC) in 2012 where both teams won their way through to higher Divisions for this year's WTC.
