This year was probably the strongest National Veteran Championships with the likes of Paul Langley (1996 Olympian), Chamara Fernando (Aust. Senior ranked top 10 from 1999 - 2008), Scott Houston (Aust. Senior ranked top 10 for few years between 2004 - 2008) and Lan Zhai (Aust. Senior ranked 5-6 in mid 1990's), participating for the first time.
Paul Langley, Chamara Fernando and Lan Zhai all won Singles titles.
