Chamara Fernando continued on his winning ways in the Victorian Veterans circuit by winning the Over 40 Men's Singles Event. In what was a nail biting final, Chamara defeated Danny Semmler 16-14 in the deciding 5th set. Chamara also won O40 Mixed Doubles (with Lan Zhai) and O30 Men's Doubles. He was also runner-up in O30 Men's Singles where Danny turned the tables by winning 3-1 and runner-up in O40 Men's Doubles.
