Sam Von Einem (SA) won Australia's first ever medal at an Paralympics or Olympics. Sam, a Class 11 player, had an unbelievable tournament. after being down 2-0 in the QF he rallied to win 11-9 in the deciding 5th set then won SF match before going down an agonising 11-8 in the 5th set against Belgian Florian Van Acker.
