As the first ever season of the Mark Smythe Rapid Fire League is nearing the end, a Rapid Fire Challenge (individual tournament) was conducted on Monday June 10, where $500 was given out in prize money courtesy of Mark's sponsorship to the League.
From the 28 eligible players, 10 chose to partake with the big winner being Aaron Cocks who defeated Brett Smythe in the playoff for 1st and 2nd. Aaron saved 2 match points before fighting back and being too consistent in the end. The prize money scale was,

The last round of the season is 17th June with Grand Final 24th June where $600 will be won in the top grade ($150 each for Premier team and $50 for Runner Up team).
The Winter/Spring season commences 15th July with entries closing 1st July. So far there are 38 entries with 63 the maximum. Anyone wishing to enter can download an entry form on the Rapid Fire League page that can be seen in the "Competitions" page on the site.
