Heming Hu had a big day at Croydon by winning the U21 Men's Singles title (as expected from his no. 1 seeding) and going down in a close 6 setter against William Henzel in the Men's Singles Final.
In the SF of Men's Singles Heming played another MSTT player, David Powell and, for the 3rd time in 6 weeks these two played a 7 set thriller that went to deuce. David won C'wealth Games Qual. match, Heming won Dandenong Open (Final) and again this time.
David won Men's Doubles (with Henzel) and Mixed Doubles (with Miao Miao).
