Dillon shines Day 1 - Aust. Junior Top 10

5 MSTT players (Dillon Chambers, Yang Shen, Mahi Joshi, Denise Lim and Parleen Kaur) are competing in the Australian U18 & U15 Top 10 Round Robin tournament. After day 1 was completed, 6 rounds, Dillon Chambers is the shining light winning all 6 matches and equal first.

Other noteable wins were, both Denise Lim and Parleen Kaur defeating current Australian U15 Team member Holly Nicholas.

Yang had a slow start but fought back later in the day winning his last 3 matches to be equal 4th.

Mahi (U15 by age), playing U18 after winning U15 Top 10 last year, found it tough going against the best players although she lost to Aust. U18 Team member, Vanessa Tan 3-2.

Denise had an up and down day with 5 of her 6 matches being 3-0 but end up winning 3 of 6 matches and equal 4th in U15.

Parleen (11yrs old) was the surprise packet winning 3 of her 6 matches, including Aust U15 Team member Holly Nicholas, then had a close lose (12-10 in deciding 5th set) to another Aust. U15 Team member Marsh Guseva. Parleen is equal 4th after Day 1.
