Dillon wins Aust. U18 Top 10 again

Dillon Chambers defended his title at Australian U18 Top 10 Round Robin tournament. In a surpreme performance over the weekend @ Seagulls TT Club in Tweed Heads/QLD, Dillon went through the event undefeated, only dropping 4 sets in his 9 wins. The closest match on the scoreboard was against fellow MSTT player, Luke Cosgriff who pushed Dillon to the deciding 5th set.

Dillon continues to work hard on improving his level while studying hard during Yr. 12 this year. He has a great support team (Family, Coach, family he lives with in Melb., girlfriend and training partners) but above all, a willingness to combine sport & academics himself and manage time to achieve in both areas. It was only 3.5 years ago when Dillon had a big change in his life when moved away from his family in Mildura (6hr drive from Melbourne) to live in Melbourne to further his TT. This was a change that many would choose not to make, including myself (Mark), but has proven a great step forward for his TT game and personal development in life.

Other MSTT players to compete in the event were,

Luke Cosgriff - finished 4th U18 Boy

Mahi Joshi - finished 5th U15 Girl

Ethan Lim - finished 6th U15 Boy
