Korean's dominate Australian Open

Korean players won all bar two of the events at the Australian Open. As expected, Oh Sangeun, won the Men's Singles over compatriot JK Lee 4-2 in the Final. In the Women's Singles Germany's Ding Ya Ping (former Beijing professional in the 1990's) beat HJ Lee of Korea 4-0 in the Final.

Korean players won the Youth (U21) Men's and Women's Singles, plus filling all spots in the SF and also won the Open Men's and Women's Doubles.

Australian's William Henzell and Miao Miao won the Mixed Doubles over Korean's JK Lee & HJ Lee 12-10 in the deciding 5th set.

MSTT player & coach, David Powell, played Oh Sangeun in the Round of 16, losing 7, 13, 6, 7. David played well but was no match for the classy Korean who looked like he was only is 1st gear. Highlights of the match may be seen here in near future.  

Another MSTT player, Yang Shen (15 years old) participated and gain great experience from this event. In the U21 Men's Singles he had a solid win against 17 year old, Abraham Ng (NSW) who is higher ranked in the U18 National Rankings.
