Record number of Countries set to compete at World Team Championships

A record 125 countries will compete at this year's World Team Championships (WTC) held in Tokyo/Japan from April 28 - May 5. 

This number comprises of, 120 in the Men's with 100 in the Women's. Three countries make their first appearance at WTC, they are Botswana, Zambia and Palestine.

The 125 beats the previous record of 118 which occured at the last WTC in Germany 2012. 

As usual, China will be red hot favourites to win both genders.
